Training Program:

From 7th to 12th November, 2016 the one week technical training program on Cervical Cancer Screening and Prevention (CCSP), Single Visit Approach (SVA) was effectively accomplished by NNCTR, Banepa in co-ordination with Ministry of Health and Population and National Health Training Center (NHTC), Teku, supported by PHASE World Wide UK. The aim of NNCTR is to develop qualified doctors and nurses for cervical cancer screening and prevention.

Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening Program:

From 19th to 23rd November,2016 the program on Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening program was implemented by NNCTR, supported by PHASE Worldwide UK in collaboration with Housewife Association, Kathmandu in different places of Kathmandu district. The total no. of 974 women aging 30 to 60 were came for cervical and breast cancer screening at the camp sites. And they were given orientation class about cervical and breast cancer and self breast examination.
